As far as I know MMX represents only multimedia instructions added to a ordinary Pentium.A similar try was made in mid 1996 by NexGen (owned now by AMD)and the processor in cause was (Byte mag. oppinion) faster than a Pentium same clock.Let's wait and see... First: I would like to apologize for the crossposting. I feel that this is relevant to all cad software packages. Second: How about someone starting an comp.cad.advocacy news group? Does anyone know why AutocadLT for win 95 sometimes fails to see the intersection of two lines (same "z" elev.)? It will return "invalid point". Windows 95 is setup and working with the digitizer. I can use it as a absolut or relative mouse. There is even a new icon in my configuration window.
