Subject: groundwater seepage measurements

Does anyone have familiarity with designs or applications of meters/devices
for quantifying seepage faces along coasts, rivers, or streams? I am
shopping ideas for construction of a device to measure groundwater flux to a
steeply banked stream from an upgradient contaminated site. Discussions with
other researchers indicate that some folks have used cylinders (fitted with
inflatable bags) that are driven into coastal banks.
Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated.

Mr. Boltinghouse:
I'm sure that your nice capital gain would be of interest to the
Internal Revenue Service.
But for the sake of this newsgroup- please refrain from posting this

Good luck with your scam.

PS I'm not sure about other states but in North Carolina- your scam is
illegal.
