If that organization is interested I can make an entry in my new
"Situations Vacant" section. All I need is the text for their advert and
if they wish, their logo. Absolute FOC as a service to the E&P;
community.

Where would I find a list of "general/basic" crude oil characteristics (e.g., API gravity, sulphur content, pour point) for many/most of the major oil fields in the world?

Reading segy tapes with windows NT
wesleyp@aol.com (WesleyP)

Hello,
Does anyone have experience reading SEGY tapes under windows NT?
The tapes are 8-mill exabytes written by a Unix system. NT seems to want
fixed length records, a particular partition scheme, etc. Is there
something
I can do on the windows end to read these tapes or is there something I
should
do on the Unix end when writing them?
Thanks in advance,
Wesley

Which app are you using under NT?

Depending on your app it could be anything from 512 byte blocks to 4K
blocks, esp if you are running tar.
Email me with more particulars and I'll try to give my USD 0.02 of
opinions.

your help.
Please post replys to this mail
