Once you have looked up that book you can look up others on Harold Edgerton and his high-speed photography. The PBS series "Nova" did a special on "Doc" Edgerton years ago. For some reason I remember high-speed films of a rifle bullet slicing its way through some gelatin. Or maybe that was something related to the Kennedy assassination... very Freudian...Return to TopANYWAY.... I had a root canal not too long ago. Edgerton and James R Killian, Jr. published by MIT Press and it has an id number EDGMP 0-262-55010-5. It includes five pictures of the first milliseconds of an atomic explosion. Harold Edgerton invented the strobe and sidescan sonar. He was a founder of EG&G; Corporation.Return to Top
hi, I know this might sound as a strange question but: I'm a student of last year of high school in an italian scientific school, I agree to use the nuclear power (as long as it is safe), as you might know in Italy because of a law we cannot produce nuclear power so we need to nuy energy from other states.
