CRC Press, which is one of the leading publishers of scientific books,
is planning to publish "Comprehensive Dictionary of Electrical Engineering".
The job has been divided into a dozen or so areas and I am in charge of
the area "Signal and Image Processing". As part of my job, I should
recruit 20 - 30 contributing authors (CA's) who will contribute terms
and definitions.
The CA's do not get paid for their jobs. But they will be identified as
CA's in the dictionary. They will also receive a complimentary copy of
the Dictionary and a complimentary copy of any derivative dictionary
in which their authored material is used. Most of the work will be
conducted via email, fax and post.
If you are interested in being a CA, please contact me.

Greetings:
We have published an article in "Clinical Kinesiology" with tentative
guidelines for research and/or data collection on the Internet. It may
be useful for some pilot projects or exploratory studies on the Net.
The guidelines are also available at the following URL site:
http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/2707/science.htm
All comments are welcomed. An invitation for joining the SARI project
(Society for the Advancement of Research on the Internet) may also be
found at that URL address. Letters of intent are greatly appreciated.
With many thanks,
A. Szabo, Ph.D.
