IMHO, I think that this is likely true for everyone.  The dominant costs
in building an FT-IR are the modulator (interferometer, motion
controller, etc.) so I think that it is unlikely that you will find a
company willing to sell you anything cheaper than a full spectrometer.

Hi everyone,
  My prevous message had a wrong subject line, so I'd better repost it...
  I'm looking for a supplier of some NMR hardware, namely interchangeable
magnetic poles, magnetic sensors and meters.  Who would sell them?
  Your hints are appreciated, by email preferably.  Thanks a lot.
