2nd comment on this scam.  I tried to send my first message back to the
person who posted this, and it bounced because the address on his e-mail
was phony.  That should tell you just how honest the poster is.

Yes, you should measure a blank for each set of buffer conditions and
cell pathlength. You should also calibrate the machine with
camphorsulfonic acid every few weeks or so.
