The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with operations, sales and marketing teams to assist in the design and delivery of our next generation best-in-class software.

The ideal candidate must have:

• BS in MIS or related field
• Prior “hands-on” development experience in a class project or internship setting
• Track record of successfully delivering high quality projects on time
• Deep understanding of all phases of systems development life cycle methodology – from requirements definition through design and delivery
• Experience with development tools a such as .NET or Microsoft SQL Server
• Prior experience with auction, CRM, purchasing, or accounting software
• Excellent organization, planning and meeting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio
• Excellent people skills - ability to work with both technical and non technical individuals to define business requirements
• A strong self starter’s work ethic and “can-do” attitude
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, reliable, and professional
• A passion for building great software

You will be expected to:

• Play a key role in our software delivery process
• Participate in rapid, prototype-based, requirement gathering sessions
• Assist with platform design documentation
• Write and/or review platform technical documentation
• Build high quality software
• Effectively manage project scope, risks and change
• Adhere to our development process and design standards
• Develop and execute test plans
• Evaluate third-party controls
