The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with operations, sales and marketing teams to lead the design and delivery of our next generation best-in-class software.

The ideal candidate must have:

BS in MIS or related field

• 6+ years of n-tier web development including 2+ years in a project leadership role
• Track record of successfully delivering innovative software solutions on time and within budget
• Deep understanding of all phases of systems development life cycle methodology – from requirements definition through design and delivery
• Experience with UML concepts or equivalent
• 2+ years experience with Microsoft .NET Framework (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#)
• 2+ years experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, views, udfs) and Database Modeling
• Prior development experience with auction, CRM, purchasing, or accounting software
• Excellent organization, planning and meeting skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio
• Excellent people skills - demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status
• A strong self starter’s work ethic and “can-do” attitude
• Comfort working in a high growth entrepreneurial environment
• Dependable, reliable, and professional
• A passion for building great software

You will be expected to:

• Participate in rapid, prototype-based, requirement gathering sessions
• Develop functional design documents and review
• Develop technical documentation including object and data model
• Facilitate formal review and approval process for all lifecycle deliverables
• Oversee delivery process to ensure solutions meets business requirements
• Effectively manage project scope, risks and change
• Leverage and generate reusable design standards to be utilized throughout platform
• Develop quality software that adheres to platform design standards
• Develop and execute test plans
