Richard M. Domaleski, Chief Executive Officer
Rich is the founder of World Energy and has been the driving force behind the Company’s vision and sales execution. Recognizing the deregulation of retail energy as a watershed moment in the economy, he was one of the first to develop a solution to exploit this opportunity. In 1996, Rich co-founded World Energy's predecessor, Oceanside Energy, which became one of the first aggregators to be granted a FERC tariff. Since that time, he has brought together the speed and accessibility of the Internet with a powerful transaction model to create the Company’s award-winning exchanges, successfully guiding World Energy to a leadership position in the industry.

Philip V. Adams, President and Chief Operating Officer
Phil plays a key role in setting the Company’s strategic objectives and managing them to successful execution. He has been instrumental in many major World Energy milestones, including taking the Company public on the Toronto Stock Exchange in November 2006; overseeing the acquisition of EnergyGateway in 2007; negotiating the RGGI contract in 2008; listing the Company on NASDAQ in 2009; and launching the World DR Exchange™ in 2010. Prior to his tenure at World Energy, Phil held senior executive roles in sales, marketing and product management at several major software and internet companies. Phil also spent four years in strategy consulting at Mercer Consulting. Phil holds a BA in Economics from Williams College and an MS from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.

James F. Parslow, Chief Financial Officer
Jim is responsible for the Company’s financial strategy, as well as its day-to-day accounting operations. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts with more than 20 years of experience serving private and public companies in the alternative energy, biomedical service and products, Internet-based auction services, and high tech manufacturing industries. Prior to joining World Energy, Jim was treasurer and CFO of Spire Corporation. He has also served as an independent financial consultant, as controller of Fairmarket, Inc. (now Dynabazaar, Inc.); and as vice president of finance and administration at Thermo Power Corporation. Jim holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Bentley College.

Robert J. Hartwell, Chief Information Officer
Rob is responsible for the company's overall IT strategy and is the chief architect of the World Energy Exchange platform. Rob brings over 20 years of experience designing and developing software solutions for businesses ranging from internet startups to fortune 1000 companies. Before joining World Energy, Rob was the founder and principal of Fusion Consulting, Inc. a technology company specializing in custom business solutions leveraging internet technologies. Before starting Fusion, Rob led engagements for several leading technology consulting companies. In addition to his extensive consulting experience, Rob worked for 7 years in the nuclear power industry where he led the progressive advancement of IT. Rob holds a BS in Management Information Systems and Business from Salisbury University.

Andrew J. Thomas, Senior Vice President, Environmental and Wholesale Operations
Andrew is responsible for leading operations for the company’s growing renewable energy, environmental and wholesale power lines of business. He brings a breadth of experience to this role, having served as vice president across retail operations and business development capacities throughout World Energy’s growth. Andrew is a veteran manager in the deregulated energy industry and has been involved in the competitive electricity markets since the first state opened in 1996. Prior to joining World Energy in 2002, Andrew was with XENERGY (now KEMA Consulting), where he was a key team member in contracting the first competitively sold kWh in the country. Andrew holds an MBA with a focus on eBusiness from Cornell University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.

Dr. Edward T. Libbey, Chairman of the Board
From October 2006 to present, Dr. Libbey has been the co-owner and principal of Edward Libbey Consultants Limited, an energy advisory and recruitment consulting firm.  Prior to that, Dr. Libbey worked with KMC International where he had been a consultant from April 2003 to July 2006, and prior thereto was a consultant with Preng & Associates from May 1999 to April 2003. Dr. Libbey also worked at British Petroleum for over 20 years in senior management roles in supply, logistics and oil trading in the USA, UK and continental Europe. Dr. Libbey is currently the chairman of our Board of Directors.

Patrick R. Bischoff, Board Member
Since the fall of 2007 to the present, Mr. Bischoff has been the Managing Director and founder of Luminor Ventures, Inc., a consulting and angel investment firm. Since April 2001 to the present, Mr. Bischoff has been the Managing Director and founder of Spinnaker Ventures LLC, an investment company owned by a trust for the benefit of Mr. Bischoff’s children, which makes venture capital investments. Mr. Bischoff served as Managing Director, Electronic Products, for Crocodiles not Waterlillies LLC, a children’s media and entertainment company from August 2004 until December 2005.  From August 2002 to April 2003, he was a senior partner of Esotera Group Inc., a human capital consulting and research company. Mr. Bischoff co-founded Saba Software Inc. in 1996 and held various positions with the company through 2001. 

John W. Wellard, Board Member
From March 1996 to April 2005, Mr. Wellard was employed with Union Gas Limited in various capacities, including as its President from May 2003 to December 2004. He also served Union Gas Limited at various times as a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing & Business Development, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Vice President of Operations. 

Thad A. Wolfe (Lt. General, Ret.), Board Member
Since September 2008, Mr. Wolfe has been the owner of Polaris Results LLC and an independent contractor working primarily with QinetiQ-North America and Thomas Group, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Wolfe worked full-time as Air Force Practice Leader with the Thomas Group, Inc., a professional services firm. From 1999 to February 2007, Mr. Wolfe was employed with SAIC in various roles, including as a business unit general manager and as account manager for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and United States Northern Command (USNORTHCOM). Mr. Wolfe served over 31 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in 1996 as a Lieutenant General.
