Inside Sales 
World Energy is seeking an Inside Sales professional with 2-4 years of experience who thrives on pursuing new business opportunities on a national scale. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, you will use your exceptional interpersonal skills and lead qualification techniques to nurture and convert marketing leads into customers. You should be comfortable moving past gatekeepers, speaking with C-Level and other senior level decision-makers, and setting appointments between qualified prospects and outside sales representatives. You must demonstrate superior verbal and written communications abilities and work well independently. You are familiar with CRM systems such as SalesForce.com and meticulously update your daily activity.

This position is located at our headquarters in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

  • Calling marketing leads in a timely manner to qualify new business opportunities and book phone or face-to-face meetings with outside sales representatives; seamlessly transition the account once an appointment has been set;
  • Creating brand awareness, improving visibility, and generating opportunities for sales in specifically assigned territories;
  • Supporting marketing and sales efforts on specific account penetration campaigns and direct marketing programs;
  • Maintaining and updating SalesForce.com with daily activity;
  • Supporting marketing programs as needed, such as creation and maintenance of mailing lists, invitations, conducting competitive analysis and compiling customer success stories for future campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a B2B environment with a focus on prospecting and lead generation
  • Prior experience using a CRM system is required, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Exposure to energy industry is a plus
