:>How is GPS used for Car Navigation?
GPS is Global Positioning System.
It is a way of navigating by satilite,
three satilites send data to a GPS, which then computes
your exact location on earth. GPS is often used for
navigation, because on many GPS's you can pinpoint any location,
that you one were at or are going to, and the GPS will work like
a compass and a map, to help you navigate to a location,
GPS is used in car navigaition, by the usage of a GPS and a computer with
a CD-Rom, the GPS get your location or specified location, then send
the data to the computer, the computer finds the co-ordinates
with in a map on a CD-Rom, and the computer outputs the map
of your location in relation to the GPS.
