For three extraordinarily successful years now, the International Pavilion has provided an excellent opportunity for petroleum-producing states to introduce and promote the hydrocarbon potential of their individual countries. A primary goal of the Pavilion has always been to create an environment in which meaningful business and educational relationships can be cultivated. This year our goal is to maximize the opportunities for serious discussions between the assembled delegations and the professionals who can forge the business relationships which will be mutually beneficial to both parties.

This is why we have invited the participation of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and inaugurated the INTERNATIONAL CORPORATE FORUM. This new area of the exhibits hall connected to the International Pavilion will accommodate companies expert in negotiating with multinational and other firms interested in partnerships with countries with developing petroleum potential. A coffee bar, sponsored by Triton Energy, and expanded lounge area will facilitate negotiations between country and company representatives.

A newly designed, open and inviting Pavilion will be featured as a major focal point in the exhibits hall (see floor plan on reverse side). This area will be large enough to accommodate many government ministries, commercial and energy agencies, and national petroleum companies from all over the world. It is already being drawn up according to the needs of those responding to this call to exhibit. The cost of your rental includes a complete, łturn-key˛ hard-wall stand as described below:

November 15, 1996 Exhibitors are sent the EXHIBITOR SERVICE MANUAL, along with the first of several newsletters, keeping them up-to-date; new requests for space must be accompanies by full payment; current exhibitors are billed for balance owed; cancellations now subject to penalty
February 15, 1997 Registration and housing deadline for funded International Pavilion participants
February 24, 1997 Deadline for most AAPG order forms, including registrations and hotel reservations for non-funded participants
April 4, 1997 (Friday) General move-in and set-up begins at 8:00 a.m.; orientation for International Pavilion participants, 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., International Pavilion dinner, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
April 5, 1997 (Saturday) Exhibitor setup continues; exhibitor reception in exhibits hall, 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.; international reception, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
April 6, 1997 (Sunday) Exhibitor setup concludes at 3:00 p.m., when displays are inspected and hall is readied for 5:00 p.m. opening; "Icebreaker" reception in hall 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
April 7, 1997 (Monday) Exhibition open 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
April 8, 1997 (Tuesday) Exhibition open 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; "Mini-breaker" 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
April 9, 1997 (Wednesday) Exhibits open 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.; tear-down begins at 1:30 p.m. (NOT BEFORE)
