World Energy Releases Upgrade to Exchange Software
New upgrades enhance support for Sarbanes-Oxley reporting
May 24, 2006. Worcester, MA. World Energy Solutions announces the release of version six of its online reverse energy auction platform, the World Energy Exchange. The latest release incorporates new modules for deals management, customer site import management and reporting management. In combination with existing Exchange functionality, these new modules significantly enhance reporting capabilities associated with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and add significant value for the company’s channel partners and end users.

The new Exchange modules include functionally for tracking task activities, recording notes, document management and import of customer usage data, accounts and utility standard offer service rates. In addition, functionality for generating savings comparisons to utility rates is included with the latest release.
