World Energy Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: XWES) is looking for an energetic, driven, “A level” professional to join our successful, entrepreneurial market operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to learning energy markets as well as high comfort level working analytically with numbers. Successful candidates will be reliable, detail oriented, and professional.

This position requires constant collaboration with our Market Directors and peer Market Analysts, thus requiring an individual who is comfortable both as a team player and as an individual contributor. Our Market Analysts are a core piece to our mission of providing best-in-class market intelligence, energy technology, and process compliance. Market Analysts participate in an extensive industry and company training program, which prepares them to support the sales and operations efforts in each of our business lines. This position is located at our headquarters in Worcester, Massachusetts.

World Energy Market Analysts:

• Work together as a team to help drive sales and operation processes.
• Interface directly with Commercial and Industrial clients as well as leading energy suppliers.
• Utilize strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Research and analyze new developments to national and international energy markets.
• Develop World Energy’s pricing indices.
• Assist in monitoring and refining workflow and business process to meet corporate goals.
• Model utility and ISO/RTO tariffs.
• Are the future of World Energy.

The ideal candidate possesses:

• Sharp attention to detail and experience with internet-based research

• Are driven to succeed while maintaining integrity, accountability, and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with more advanced analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS, @Risk, a plus.
• An undergraduate degree (at a minimum).
